Barefoot Village 10 Models Now Open Blog

29 January . 2026

Barefoot Village’s first TEN model homes are now open

On Saturday, January 24, hundreds of visitors braved the cold to come to Barefoot Village’s Model Home Unveiling event to see the new mix of homes coming to Barefoot from the $400s — including paired homes, alley cottages, single-family homes and townhomes (coming soon). Each of the builders — Brookfield Residential, Pulte Homes, Richmond American Homes and American Legend Homes — hosted activities and treats to showcase their models and keep guests wowed (and warm). From barista-crafted beverages and charcuterie tables to candle-making and a hot chocolate station, guests had the opportunity to spend meaningful time in each home and experience how thoughtfully designed the floorplans are.

If you missed the celebration, you can tour the ten new models daily. And make sure to join the interest list to be invited to future model unveiling events, coming later this spring. Homes in Barefoot Village start in the $400s, and there may be builder incentives in this early stage of the neighborhood taking shape, so now could be the perfect time to find your new home.

About the new models

Barefoot Village’s first ten new models are offered by three esteemed builders, and include single-family homes, cottages and paired homes. Charming architecture and welcoming front porches help set the tone for the village, which is about connecting with neighbors and nature.

Canvas Portfolio by Brookfield Residential
From the high $400s
The Canvas Portfolio is all about making the very most of your space, with a large island in the open kitchen, flexible living areas and lots of natural light — even the storage is thoughtfully planned. Outside, there’s just enough room for a grill and your dog in the small private yard (bonus: less yardwork for you).

Tealight Portfolio by Brookfield Residential
From the $500s
Two models from the Tealight Portfolio showcase how welcoming spacious front porches can be — especially when they span the width of the home. And touches like design-driven finishes and private outdoor spaces feel thoughtful to the way today’s family’s live. There’s even the option to add an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) above the detached garage for guests, live-in relatives or a work-from-home office.

The Perry & The Rowen by Pulte Homes
From the $500s
These homes have it all: alley-load garages for cute curb appeal. Expansive covered front porches and courtyard-inspired outdoor spaces. Open main floors. And, upstairs, loft space for games, TV or homework. (In both, owners’ suites are located away from the secondary bedrooms, making things that much more peaceful.)

The Duos by Richmond American Homes
From the $600s
The Navy and the Nina are both part of the Duos collection, paired homes that live like single-family residences, but with a little less yard maintenance. Both have spacious floorplans and ample space for the whole family to spread out — including finished basements that come standard with every home.

Big Sky Portfolio by Brookfield Residential
From the $700s
The largest homes currently offered in Barefoot Village, the Big Sky portfolio is big on luxurious details, like walls of windows. Dramatic ceiling heights. Spa-like owners’ bathrooms. And kitchens fit for the most gourmet of chefs (including prep kitchens). Each of the models offers a “wow” moment, too — like an eight-foot-long island in one, and just-for-the-kids second floor in another.

More models to come

More models will be joining the ten already at Barefoot Village — including single-family residences from American Legend Homes and Richmond American Homes and townhomes from Brookfield Residential. Join the interest list to make sure you’re invited to Model Home Unveiling events.

Barefoot Village: a village vibe

Barefoot Village will bring a vibrant way of life to the Barefoot community. “The Square” will offer a pop-up farmstand, a concert lawn and more. As the neighborhood grows, it will also be home to another pool, parks, and miles of trails. These amenities will be shared by all residents of Barefoot, joining the list of things to do in already-established Barefoot Lakes — including the two namesake lakes, fishing spots, trails along the St. Vrain Creek, parks, a fitness center, pool, pickleball courts and more. No matter where you live in the community, you get to experience it all (including a full calendar of social events so you can get to know your neighbors).
